Kathmandu’s Kirtipur has welcomed a new branch of Tea Sagar under a revamped management. This is the third branch of Tea Sagar, following its outlets in New Baneshwor and Maharajgunj. Offering 55 varieties of tea, the menu features specialties such as Matka Tea, Masala Tea, Iced Tea, Home-Style Tea, Herbal Tea, Green Tea, and Fruit Tea.
“One of our primary goals is to provide employment opportunities for Nepali youth,” said Keshav Sharma, one of the co-founders. “We also aim to set an example by showing that investing in Nepal is feasible and impactful.”
Tea Sagar’s menu is reasonably priced, with tea items ranging from NPR 50 to NPR 160. To celebrate its opening, a 20% discount on tea is being offered for one month starting on Mangsir 1 (mid-November). For those ordering an entire pot of tea, prices are set between NPR 200 and NPR 350. Alongside tea and coffee, the menu also includes bakery items and sandwiches.
Looking ahead, Tea Sagar plans to expand to cities like Pokhara. The company is managed by three directors: Keshav Sharma, Navin Sharma, and Prakash Poudel.
The Kirtipur branch was inaugurated on Saturday by popular comedian Marichman Shrestha, also known as “Balchi Dhurbe,” who cut the ribbon to mark the occasion.
