Janakpur Bolts have emerged as the champions of the inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024, taking revenge against Sudurpashchim in the final for their defeats in the league stage and Qualifier 1.
In a high-scoring match, Janakpur chased down Sudurpashchim’s target of 185 runs with 4 balls to spare, losing 5 wickets in the process. Lahiru Milantha’s impressive 87 runs for Sudurpashchim set a challenging target, but Janakpur’s resilience ensured their triumph in the final.
