CG Launches Hero Bikes in Nepal, Sets Up Assembly Plant

Chaudhary Group (CG) has kicked off the official sales and distribution of Hero brand motorcycles and scooters in Nepal. This initiative was marked by the launch of four Hero models during a recent event, signaling the start of two-wheeler sales under this partnership. Hero MotoCorp has reaffirmed its collaboration with Chaudhary Group for the Nepali market.

CG Motors, a division of Chaudhary Group, introduced Hero X Pulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor Plus, and Zoom 110 (scooter) as part of the lineup. Alongside this, Hero MotoCorp has revealed its ambitious plans for market expansion, strengthening its foothold in Nepal. The company views this collaboration as pivotal in enhancing its presence in the region.

In a strategic move, CG Motors has inaugurated an assembly plant at CG Industrial Park in Navalparasi. With an annual capacity of 75 thousand units, this facility is strategically positioned in central Nepal, promising wider accessibility of Hero’s products throughout the country.

Sanjay Bhan, Chief Business Officer of Hero MotoCorp’s Global Business Unit, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, citing the establishment of a cutting-edge assembly unit as a significant milestone. Bhan emphasized the focus on bolstering the sales and service network to cater to the growing market demand.

Nirwan Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, echoed the excitement about launching Hero’s products alongside the assembly plant in Nepal. He emphasized the benefits of Hero MotoCorp’s efficiency in production and business processes in establishing a robust market presence and local production.

In line with this partnership, CG Motors has inaugurated Hero’s flagship showroom in Kathmandu, further solidifying their commitment to delivering quality products and services to customers across Nepal.
